To a bodybuilder, joints are one of the most important parts of his body, since they support all the muscle he has built over the years.
Once your joints start going haywire, your entire exercise regime is affected, since joint pain is a serious condition that will force you to stop your training.
While this might not be the end of the world, tell a bodybuilder he has to quit training and he will feel like all hell broke loose.
If you’re currently experiencing joint pain and it is affecting your training, read this article to find out what SARMs you can use to heal your joints and get things running smoothly again.
Reasons For Joint Pain
The first one is quite obvious and it’s nothing else but the stress we put on our joints by training hard.
This is especially pronounced during a steroid cycle where you just keep piling on the weights without paying attention to your poor joints that have to keep supporting your entire structure.
The second reason is a lot more sinister and has to do with low estrogen levels in the body.
As your estrogen levels plummet following steroid or heavy SARM usage, so do your joints start aching as there aren’t enough hormones left in your body in order to support their function.
Many people believe that Testosterone is ‘good’, and that estrogen is ‘bad’, especially for men, but that is not always the case as we’ve seen from the above example.
Best SARMs For Joint Pain
Those are none other than Ostarine and Ligandrol, with the former being more powerful at joint healing than the latter.
If you ask me personally, I don’t believe that taking Ligandrol is all that beneficial for the joints, and it’s not because it doesn’t work, but simply because it takes too much Ligandrol in order for it to do its magic, which causes other issues, such as Testosterone suppression.
This leaves us with Ostarine, by far the best SARM for joint healing out there.
A 10mgs per day protocol for six to eight weeks should be enough to get rid of your joint pain. Remember to not overdo it during training and you’ll be well on your way to enjoying fully healed joints!
Also, take some time off between Ostarine cycles and keep your diet in check so that you minimize the inevitable muscle loss from your impaired training regime.
Alternatives to Ostarine
I’ll just briefly mention that MK-677 (Ibutamoren) is great for joint pain and that you can stack it with your Ostarine in order to achieve results even faster.
I would even go as far as to say that MK-677 is the better option when compared to Ostarine, as it doesn’t cause Testosterone suppression, nor do you have to limit your cycle to eight weeks.
I’ve known people that have taken Ibutamoren for up to a year without stopping and they reported no issues, and although I don’t recommend that you do that, it tells us a lot about how much more tolerated Ibutamoren is in comparison to Ostarine.
I would also take a closer look at the peptides BPC 157 and TB 500, as their anti-inflammatory properties can help you out with your joint pain.
Conclusion
As much as it pains me to tell you this – this coming from a huge proponent of SARMs – SARMs are simply not the best option when it comes to joint pain.
I would rather take Ibutamoren for joint healing any day of the week, as it simply is the better choice.
If you’re hard-pressed on taking SARMs, Ostarine should be your go-to option as it has the least side effects and can be a great aid to joint healing if utilized properly.
