MK 677 Water Retention | Does Ibutamoren Cause Water Retention

MK 677, also called Ibutamoren or Nutrobal is a growth hormone secretagogue. Some people claim that they experience water retention when using this compound. In this article, we will go in-depth on this topic. We will go over how common water retention is with MK 677, how to avoid it and more.

Keep in mind, this article will only focus on the topic of MK 677 water retention. If you want more information about this compound, read my in-depth MK 677 guide.

Let’s get right into it by first explaining what water retention even is.

What is water retention

Water retention is when your body retains excess water, a lot of people see it as bloating. There are a lot of reasons why water retention can happen, the most common are:

  • Diet
  • Substances
  • Bad hydration

Now let’s go on to explain the MK 677 water retention. But to fully understand it, we must first understand the compound itself. So let’s do a quick recap of Ibutamoren.

MK 677 summary

MK 677, also called Ibutamoren or Nutrobal, is a growth hormone secretagogue. This means that it makes our body produce more natural GH (growth hormone) and IGF-1 (growth factor).

A nice, quick explanation on Ibutamoren

Benefits of Nutrobal are:

  • Healthier, better quality hair
  • Healthier, better quality nails
  • Increased muscle mass
  • Lower body fat
  • Increased sleep quality
  • Healthier skin

It will also make our hair and nails grow faster. People even use MK 677 to prevent baldness from happening. It is an amazing compound because it doesn’t have any serious side effects and because of that can be used for long cycles. I, for example, am a long time user of MK 677. I cycle it for at least 20 weeks at a time.

Now let’s go over the MK 677 water retention.

MK 677 Water Retention

Now let’s talk more in-depth about MK 677 Water retention. Quite a lot of people online are reporting this as a side effect even when they use normal dosages of Nutrobal.

Most common reasons why MK 677 water retention happens:

  • Drinking too little water
  • A bad diet
  • Bunk product (most common reason)

Drinking enough water is very important. A lot of people don’t drink enough water when they cycle MK 677 and because of that, they can experience water retention. Because most people exercise more when on a cycle, they need to drink more water. Make sure that you drink at least 2.5 liters of water a day.

Water retention

Another common reason for water retention during a MK 677 cycle is a bad diet. Some people getting high sodium intake by drinking soda, eating fast food, basically with a bad diet.

It’s common for MK 677 to cause an increase in hunger if you take it in the morning. Because of this, some people eat a lot of junk food which is full of sodium and that can cause water retention.

The last, most common reason for water retention during a MK 677 cycle is a bunk product. Sadly, a lot of companies sell underdosed Ibutamoren that is spiked with other substances. This lowers the effectiveness of the compound and gives it a ton of unnecessary side effects, including water retention.

So if you buy real, high-quality, pure MK 677 and you drink enough water (and you don’t only eat junk food), you will definitely avoid experiencing water retention on your MK 677 cycle.

How to stop water retention?

One of the best ways to stop water retention is to drink more water. This is because the number one reason water retention happens is dehydration. When we drink too little, our bodies start storing water for “emergency”.

So this means, we should drink a lot of water especially when we are taking compounds like Ibutamoren. At least 2.5 liters of water per day.

Another thing that also helps is a clean diet. High sodium or salt foods are another reason for water retention. MK 677 is known to have an increased hunger effect so that might make us eat some bad foods. Make sure to have a clean diet to stay away from water retention.

How much water retention does MK 677 cause?

This is a hard question to answer. First of all, the water retention is an individual thing, so most of us won’t experience it. I, for example, don’t experience it and I take MK 677 regularly. Secondly, if we do experience it and we drink water, we will stop it.

But for most people who do experience it and let’s say that they drink average water and have an average diet, they will get about 5 lbs of water weight. And later, they will lose 5 lbs of water weight at the end of the cycle.

Is water retention dangerous?

In short, yes and no. Water retention can be dangerous because it can increase our blood pressure but it won’t be a danger during our MK 677 cycle. We would need to have water retention for over a year to possibly get in danger of increased blood pressure.

This means that it is not dangerous or something to worry about on our Ibutamoren cycle. If we have any water retention, it will go away on its own in a few weeks after the cycle. We can aid that by drinking lots of water.

Conclusion

In conclusion, MK 677 water retention is not something to be concerned about. It can definitely happen but if you are drinking enough water (at least 2.5 liters a day) and you have a moderately clean diet, it almost certainly won’t happen to you. And even if it does, it’s not a dangerous side effect, it will go away on its own in a few weeks after the cycle.

So remember, drink enough water and you won’t have to deal with water retention on your Ibutamoren cycle.
