So far we did a short summary of what MK 677 is and what it does. Now let’s focus on the height aspect that a lot of people are interested in.
In short, yes, MK 677 absolutely can increase height but not for everybody. Now let’s get deeper into this and explain everything in detail including if this will work for you and how much could you grow with the help of Ibutamoren.
This photo is just an example and you shouldn’t expect results like this. You can expect to grow a few inches, but this big of a difference is very rare. We will talk more about this later.
To understand how MK 677 can help us increase height, we need to first understand a few things. Let’s explain the most important thing first.
Who can increase their height
Not everybody will be able to increase their height with the help of MK 677. The important thing here are our growth plates and whether they are closed or open.
If our growth plates are closed, we sadly can’t grow any taller naturally, except with the help of some surgery. Even with the help of a compound like MK 677 or even growth hormone therapy.
But if growth plates aren’t closed (they are open), we can still grow and a compound like MK 677 can have very positive results on that. It can increase our height with another growth spurt.
At the age of 13-16 growth plates close for girls. Some girls stop growing later than others, there isn’t a one number fits all here.
At the age of 18-22, some even until 24 boys stop growing because their growth plates close. Again, this isn’t a one number fits all, the only way you can be certain if your growth plates are open or closed is by getting an x-ray done.
I, for example, am 26 years old and my growth plates are closed. Two years ago, when I was 24, I got an x-ray done and the doctor told me that my growth plates closed recently. That means that my growth plates were open until I was 24. I was always short and I started growing more at the age of 18 all the way until 24. Now I’m 194cm (6’4).

What do the studies say
Let’s go over what the studies say about growing taller with MK 677. We will reference this study and a few more as well.
A lot of studies have done research on the topic of increased growth from MK 677. The study that we referenced tested individuals over a period of a year. Some of them were over the age of 25 and as you would suspect, they didn’t grow. The ones that were younger than 18, however, all grew for at least 3cm (an inch). Some that were over the age of 19 and haven’t been growing in the two years prior also grew taller.
This indicates that MK 677 can indeed make us taller if our growth plates aren’t closed yet.
An important thing to note, however, is that the increased GH (Growth Hormone) and IGF-1 (Growth Factor) from MK 677 can take a while to build up to cause any sort of height growth. That is why you should take MK 677 for the long term. In fact, the same study found out that height increase started happening about 3-6 months into taking MK 677.
The group was taking 12.5mg daily and the study lasted for one year.

He was taking 15mg of MK 677 a day at that time. Only taking breaks from the compound once every 6 months for 4 weeks. Taking breaks isn’t necessary though, we can safely take this compound for a long time period.

This person took MK 677 and successfully grew from 5’6 to 6’2 from the age of 15-18. Yes, that’s right, crazy right? The most amazing this about this is that both of his parents are under 6’0.
Obviously, this is an example of somebody that has great results from MK 677. This is achievable, but not for everybody, everyone responds differently to the compound. Most people would still be able to grow from 5’6 to 5’9 or 6’0 in the same time period though.

So, if we keep that in mind, let’s now go over how much can you grow with the help of MK 677 if your growth plates are still open.
In short, it depends on your age but generally, it can provide about 5-10cm (2-3 inches) in a year.
After MK 677 kicks in enough (raises GH and IGF-1 levels enough) to increase your height you can expect to start growing about an inch (3cm) every 3-6 months, obviously, this is considering that your growth plates are still open. MK 677 vs GH shots for increasing height
We can’t really compare GH (growth hormone) shots to MK 677 when it comes to increasing height. MK 677 raises our own production of GH but GH shots provide us with an enormous dosage of foreign (not our own) GH. When it comes to growing taller, if we consider that your growth plates are still open, GH shots are definitely a lot better and more effective.
Obviously, GH shots are a lot, and I mean a lot more expensive (it can cost around 10.000 $ for enough GH shots). It also shutdowns our own GH production because of the amount of foreign GH in our body. MK 677 on the other hand, won’t shut down our GH production, it will actually boost it and is a lot more affordable as well. When it comes to growing taller, GH shots are more effective though, MK 677 will still work, but not as much as GH shots.
If I had to decide which one to use, I would still use MK 677 even though it’s less effective for height growth. I would choose it because it’s more affordable and has fewer side effects/is generally safer.
MK 677 height increase after puberty
As we said, you can only grow taller with MK 677 if your growth plates aren’t closed yet. This happens somewhere around the end of puberty. So for men, around the ages of 21-25 and for women it usually happens around the ages of 16-18. So for most people, you won’t grow any taller with the help of MK 677 or even with real growth hormone shots even, if you are finished with your puberty.
There are some people, that still have their growth plates open for up to a year or two after they finish puberty, but most people’s growth plates close when they finish puberty.
So to summarize, sadly, it isn’t possible to grow taller with the help of MK 677 or even growth hormone shots after puberty. If it would be possible, all of the bodybuilders and a lot of athletes would all be giants.
